Research Confirms Having Fun is the Main Reason Children Play High School Sports

It’s often said, “Do what you love, and you’ll never work another day in your life.” The same is true of playing high school sports! Practice is exhausting. Conditioning is grueling. Coaches are demanding. But student-athletes push through it all because they have fun playing the games they love.

In fact, research confirms having fun is the number one reason children play sports.

Talk with your children about the countless ways they’ll have fun as high school athletes. From team meals and bus rides to pep rallies and championships (and even all the hard work), they’ll have the time of their lives!

You’ve seen and heard what others have to say. Now… what do YOU like most about participating in high school sports and performing arts? Would you recommend playing high school sports to kids in middle school? If so, why?
